Residential MBAs are basically the regular two year MBA courses, often with living accommodation facility. Residential MBAs programs are generally preferred by students who have just cleared their graduation. Executive MBAs are usually very helpful for working professionals with more than 2-3 years experience. This form of MBA assist management executives to take a year’s break and pursue their education. Since these students already have so much of business experience and possession of required expertise, they do not need intensive two year training. Hence most of the executive MBAs globally are for one year.
